Well.

Here it is Sunday. After a fairly busy weekend, I am taking today for me and me alone. Well, Carrie too cause she's coming over. But, here's what I did this weekend.

On Friday, Jo, Erika, Nick and I went to the Twins game. I won these tickets back in June on a Twingo game. The seats were great, we were 11 rows up from the bullpen and Boo (Juan Rincon) totally winked at Erika and I when we were waving to him. Nick maintains that Boo also totally looked at him, but I think he just wanted to be as cool as E and me.

On Saturday I went to work, where I found out that my boss had been demoted, and this makes me really angry, because she is just about one of the best people ever at her job and Wells Fargo and their insatiable desire for money makes me so angry. And I bet at least 4 tellers quit over this, myself included. I mean, I took a demotion when I quit working full-time, but it was my idea, I wasn't forced into it.

Then, I came home, showered (because I overslept and didn't shower before I went to work) and headed to my aunt's house for a birthday party for my cousin Bobby who turned 16. We won't even talk about how old this made me feel.

Around 7, I headed to Nadia's house for a poker party for work. I won the first hand (of course we weren't playing for money), and lost the second hand (of course we were playing for money). But as that was one of the first times I had ever played Hold 'Em, I think I did all right.

Today my plans are: nothing. I will be watching movies and doing laundry because I need a day to take all to myself (and Carrie) because I have been rather busy lately and next weekend I am going to the renaissance festival, and the weekend after that is Labor Day and that means Valleyfair and party at Barbs. I'm so excited.
