Questions

Here are my Answers. Round one from Cassidy and Court.
1. When was your last secret date - leave out no details!
You guys really took that date thing to heart didn't you? Well here are all the details about when the last date I went on that I didn't tell anyone about was.

June 17th 8:30 pm.

2. What made you start following the Twins?
My cousins and I always played outside when I was little. I loved baseball. When I in 3rd grade the Twins went to the World Series (1987). My mom and I skipped work and school to go to the rally downtown. I remember driving around with my mom and listening to the homer hanky song. "my baby waves her homer hanky" I just have memories of it from when I was a little kid. I like that its not a violent sport (for the most part). But basically, I grew up loving baseball.

3. To whom did you tell a recent lie?
This morning, I called in sick to work because I overslept. I said I had a migraine. I do get migraines, I just didn't have one this morning.

4. When was the last time you had sex - and who with?
Memorial Day Weekend. Brian. (I know, I didn't tell anyone that)

5. What is your first memory?
When I was little, I remember posing for a picture up at the cabin. We still have the picture, and I remember my then uncle, Tom, taking the picture and setting up the chair that I am sitting in. I don't know how old I was, 2?3?.

6. If you knew it was about to happen and there was nothing you could do about it, would you rather get a paper cut EITHER between your toes OR under your finger nail?
Under my finger nail.

Someone named Pappy asked me:

1. Have you ever kissed a girl?
No, no I haven't.

And lastly, Toni asked me:
1. What are you most passionate about?
I guess it depends on what you mean. I'm passionate about literacy. I could spend my life advocating it and teaching it and providing opportunities for people to become literate. I'm passionate about baseball, I love it. I'm passionate about my hatred of professional football. I'm passionate about many different things.

2. What is your all time favorite book (you can do a list like Court did)?
I don't have to do a list. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'engle.

3. What is something that you once had in your life that you don't have now that you miss? Sex? No, seriously, um, a sense of security about who I am, what I want to do with my life, and my ability to let myself be loved.
