So, the other day I was joking around with Sarah about meeting her in Sioux Falls for happy hour on Thursday evening. I asked Kristie and Erika if they wanted to go, and they both said sure! So we did it! So, Thursday morning I went to work, left around 12.30, went to the dr. (ew) and headed home.
Nurse Jenny called me on my way home and I convinced her to join us! So, we loaded into my car around 3, and headed out. We stopped at Chipotle in Mankato to pick up a burrito for sarah, and arrived in Sioux Falls around 7.

fun story about mike the waiter:
I was on the phone with Rachel, because we had promised to call her. Mike the waiter walked up to the table, I held out the phone and said, "wanna talk to Rachel?" He took the phone and promptly said, "Hi, what are you wearing?" This had us in fits of hysterical laughter. Mike and Rachel chatted for a bit and we could just see the relationship blooming... So, as we were leaving, we left a nice little note with Rachel's phone number on it. I'll keep everyone posted.
Then, we headed back to see Sarah's famous house and left around 10.There was a brief moment of panic when we almost headed to brookings instead of minneapolis, but disaster was averted with some fantastic evasive driving by yours truly. I eneded up making Jenny drive home and Kristie sit up and keep her awake, while I slept in the back, but we made it alive, and now Kristie and I are going out to breakfast. Bye!

uh, you almost went to brookings? was there a problem with my directions? you have problems getting onto I-229 or I-90? i'm disappointed...
no, it wasn't a problem with your directions, it was a problem with me talking to rachel and blindly following T and almost going south instead of north.
I almost stopped on the onramp to make sure you didn't get on it.

That's awesome! You drove four hours just to ahve drinks with a friend? I love it. So, when are you driving up to BC? We can even go for dinner to make it worth your while!
