Being back at work today is kind of sucky. I've been here an hour, and I'm quite ready to go home.
Don't get me wrong, I find much more satisfaction in my job than most other people my age, but I do like those days off and not have any problem going home right now.
I'm home!

So what is it that you do exactly for the government that is non-profit?
I agree, whoever came up with the schedule of work 5 days so you can live 2 days was not quite thinking straight.
I should aslo not complain as my company treats us very well.
I work in ecomnomic assistancce and work supports read: welfare. I work for Hennepin COunty.
Basically I interview people to determine their eligibility for public assistance. And process. I do a lot of processing.
But, I have a window and I get to stream music off the internet.
I forgot about Martin Luther King Jr. Day! Woohoo for holidays! Sure I don't get paid for it, but seeing as how I'm quitting at the end of the month, I really don't care anymore.
24 days, 7 hours, and 38 minutes left!
That sounds just like my job...what if we are all living the same exact lives but we don't know it because we are doing ti in different places...omg...I am a little freaked out.
PS I love all of you
Brian, are you drunk? because I know you don't work in social services.
Yes, well just buzzed:) I do process things though so that has to count a little right?
yes, it counts a little...
I wish I could be buzzed at work.
I've gotta say, next week with five whole workdays is going to be a little tough. I'm thinking about taking a day off.
I was so ridiculously bored last week that I am happy to be back at work. This is why I still had three weeks of vacation to use on December 1.
I think a buzz would make my job much more enjoyable.
I'm saving my vacation for when I move, and rachel comes down.
Anonymous, you should take January 27th aoff and you and I can move a bunch of my stuff with your truck...
We are hiring!!! Just don't say you know me and you should be ok...
PS. I am very good at moving light non-breakable objects let me know if you need a hand...
OMG....Anna would be so proud btw :)
why would anna be proud? *confused*
and I deleted my email address so it's not up there for the random world to see.
The count down....
It leaves me flush with memories of I can't wait for this class to be over.
hee. what can I say. I like countdowns.
Countdown's..
Have you ever seen Kieth Olberman's "Countdown" on MSNBC at night?
Pretty good backroud TV "noise" while on line and not listening to music.
I don't have cable. So nope! I rarely watch TV, unless it's a baseball game, a hockey game, or the occasional college football game. But that only if Nick calls me and says, "You should watch this game."
I almost always have music going in the background.
Congrats on making it through your day, Dawn. I know it was rough on you.
thanks. I'm a little weirded out by the number of comments on this post. holy crap.
HAHAHA....Yes I AM Proud....Gotta Love The Countdowns!
I Miss You All...
