I'm sitting here, in my new apartment, with no furniture. I brought a few things last night, and I brought more stuff over this morning than I would have thought possible.
Here's a nice shot of the fantastic truck I am using:
It's really old, really rusty, really dirty, and a manual transmission. I haven't driven a manual in 4 years, but I managed to drive ok from Burnsville to St. Paul.
Now, I'm sitting here, with no furniture, a laptop, an internet connection that is surpisingly strong, considering it's being bogarted until my cable company comes in a couple hours. I unpacked a box of kitchen supplies, because I was bored. In a bit, I'm going to walk down to grand, and maybe grab myself a chipotle and an iced tea. I brought my TV over, so that the cable guy has something to connect to cable this afternoon.
I just got back from chipotle, not a far walk, but man am I tired from carrying all that stuff up here.

I like this you will be all finished by the time i get there and then I can just sit and drink:) Wahooo !!!
You are now part of the chips at 11:00 crew!!!
well, if you want pics with no furniture, I could take some now, since all I have here is a TV, my laptop, and my camera.
But, I will post pictures once I'm all unpacked.
You should totally take house pics, I mean, I've seen it, but rach hasn't.
Chips at 11? Brian? What are you talking about?
Chipolte...we call it chips here for short. Every friday I go with Rocket and a group of guys from work at 11:00. They are the Chips at 11:00 Crew.
Except I didn't go today..
i second: briañ - WTF?
(dawn - how can i make the ñ on a laptop? i couldn't get it last night. well, it was a different accent, but still.)
take pics of your naked apt. do it! what else are you gonna do?
and yeah, i was pretty much thinking of rachel in regards to my house. 'cause i'm sure she cares sooooo much.
yeah brian, what are you talking about? :)
i'm glad that you moved, i know how much you hated that other apartment. hope the rest of the moving goes well for you.
enjoy that chipotle for me... i can't get one until we move to CO!!!!!!
aha!
Brian con accente- I didn't go until 11:30. I'll join, so long as it doesn't interfere with my team chipotle duties.
Say Rah!- I have no idea. I can't get it either.
Meghann- It was yummy. And lemonade to drink.
Still haven't had any soda!
So that is funny you have a team Chipotle and so do we.....this is like supermans bizzaro world. OMG it is is your whole team women? This is freaky
what i wouldn't do for a chipotle burrito right now.
well, drive to mankato is one example...
dude, bri - i am the captain.
Paul is our captian....maybe you two are destined to be star crossed lovers..he even likes sports and stuff too
oh my god, a guy who likes sports? it must be fate!
ok, i'm getting snarky. i gotta eat. [/bitch]
*shocked* Say Rah! is hungry? No way. [/sarcasm]
[/?] <- What is the meaning of this?
Sheesh... I go for lunch and there are 16 comments here already?
Say Rah, I would love to see pictures of your house, since it may be a while before I find myself in SF again, seeing as how it won't be on the way to my Grandma's house anymore after I move.
Brian, on message boards you use [__] instead of <> to make actions. [/__] = end ___
Rach - It's a very cute house.
Something new everyday! [/awe]
good work, Bri!
I like the nice reddish truck.
hee. I bet you do. Your's is much nicer though. And now, peeps, I'm back to my old place to finish up some stuff.
I've gotta say, this whole chipotle conversation is hilarious. Maybe someday the girl's chipotle team can have a specific time instead of "Chips on a random weekend day when 4 people spread out over the midwest happen to get together after a baseball game". "Chips at 11 Crew" has a better ring to it.
After seeing that beautiful truck, I'm thinking you won't need mine.
*contemplates sleeping until noon*
Erika! No sleeping until noon! I may cry. Seriously.
Sounds like Erika wants to help you move like I helped my sister move.
"I have to work until noon, but I'll be over as soon as I can."
At noon: "Oh, you guys are done and have to leave but don't have a key to lock the place? I'll stay here and keep an eye on things. You guys go on over to the old place and get that cleaned up."
And then it was naptime.
