I hate school. I got a letter from school telling me they canceled my financial aid because I already have a degree. Pish. Then, the next day I was at work after that, we got an email saying they reduced our available tuition reimbursement by 56%. Between those two things, I'm dropping out of school. I'll miss my Spanish peeps. Poor Kelley, hopefully Lyna can sit by her and not that weird girl who was behind us on Tuesday...
At least this way I'll save money on gas because I won't be driving from St. Paul to Bloomington, and I'll have almost all my evenings free so I can put more time in with the Literacy Council if I want.
And, I found an alternate grad school program that may enable me to start this fall *scary* and not have to take the prereqs that the U program did and I still don't have to take the GRE.
Bad things about not being in school:
*I'll miss the Spanish peeps.
Good things about not being in school:
*more time on my hands.
*I can go back to taking impromptu vacations and not worry about homework
*When Rachel is here next month I won't have to desert her two nights of the week she is here.
*Save on gas
*more free time to enjoy the cable I ordered and haven't had for three years
*I can focus on grad school apps

I hope it works out for you. I know how stressed out you've been over the past couple of days.
Love that quote, BTW.

I will post a comment once i stop crying
Aww, thanks Bri. It's nice to feel so loved.

That's right. Good job keeping your priorities straight. :D
yeah. I think I might go buy a bed tonight so you have somewhere to sleep.
Bri, I won't be at class.
cable? you're actually getting cable? my whole sense of the world just shifted slightly.
yes, I know, I'm getting cable. But, here's the thing, I am getting cable internet anyway, and I really want to be able to watch games this summer. I know. I debated a long, long time.
