Learning to ignore things is one of the great paths to inner peace.

My plans for this weekend:

Friday - maybe I'll go grocery shopping, to clear up the list I posted earlier. Other than that, it's just me, my TV, and the home and Garden channel :addicted: I could go to Matt's, but I think I'm going to skip it. Jennifer and Sami are possibly coming over tonight, but I bet they don't.

Saturday - Sleep in. my intent to do this, of course means that my traitorous body will be up and awake at 7:30 at the latest Do nothing. Maybe go for a walk.

Sunday - Get up. Eat breakfast. take a nap. Do nothing. Again, maybe go for a walk.

That's it. I've been running constantly the past several weekends, and none of my friends are available to do things this weekend anyway, so I'm taking the opportunity to chill.

so you're saying i shouldn't be sitting at matt's waiting for you? heh. totally kidding. absolutely 100% not gonna happen.

yes, I'm saying that, I'm not going. I just got an IM from Jennifer and they are coming, so I for sure won't be at matt's.

although I suppose I can go for a half hour or so.

I'm just not in the mood, the people going aren't really my favorite crowd.

hehehe. then i definitely won't go. i guess i don't even know who IS going except mic. no matter, i can't be there, so it won't be cool.

that's my thinking, no say rah, no me. what's the point?

Sounds like an ambitious plan for the weekend, similar to what I've been doing all week.

Hey, I was thinking of going to Matt's tonight. *offended*

dawnmarie said...

well, that would have made a difference, erika, had I known that. I wouldn't have expected you to go though.

But, now I have people coming over at 6:30, so I will not be making it.

Who's Jennifer and Sami?

I think this is becoming a duh moment.

dawnmarie said...

yes, it's a duh moment.

Jennifer? As in Michaels wife? As in I was in theirwedding? Sami, as in their daughter and my goddaughter? We once convinced JP she was my daughter and despite the fact he'd known me 3 years he never knew I had a 2 year old?

Glad to know I'm in the good crowd. If I go, I'm going early and bringing a "date." If I have to go to Apple Valley for the movie he wants to see, he can damn well go to Matt's first.

dawnmarie said...

would this date be six years old and my future husband? or larger than that and your brother?

just curious.

Your future husband told me I'm "mean" because I wouldn't take him ice skating last night. Now wouldn't be a good time for us to go for dinner and a movie.

My "date" is older and obsessed with Harrison Ford. That would make him my brother.

i've made the apple valley to matt's trek a couple time. you simply take cedar to cedar. heh. does that ever get old? i think not.

Toni said...

Sorry about that.
I haven't heard you talk about them in a long time, I just didn't make the connection.

dawnmarie said...

hey, I want to see that harrison ford movie. But because of paul bettany, not harrison ford. Hey does your brother want a key to the other apartment building? cause I have one.

no sarah, it doesn't.

toni, it's ok.

We'll miss you at Matt's, but we'll survive.

Oh, and I really like your plan for the weekend. It sounds excellent! (And if my body tries to wake me up 7:30 on Saturday, it can go back to sleep until I'm ready!)

see, there's another one who is my crowd. Beth is my crowd too, so it's not just you I forgot Erika.

thanks beth.
