There were apples painted in pale green and bright red on a ground of emerald green leaves. It is all colour. One might say it was a Cezanne.
I have a confession. I'm hopelessly addicted to apples. Braeburns. Big, fat, juicy, sweet, braeburn apples. It's been going on for awhile now. I thought I was done. I thought I had kicked it. I went all weekend without an apple.
then. . .
last night as I was walking home from having a drink with nick and kath, I had to pass the Mississippi Market. My dealer, if you will.
I caved. I bought three more. I've been eating 2-3 a day since the superbowl, and so I thought if I only buy three, then I'll have to walk down to the market to buy more if I want more, and it's cold out so I may not want to do that, right?
yeah. that'll happen. If the old adage "an apple a day keeps the doctor away." is true, I shouldn't have to go to the doctor for a very long time, especially if this keeps up.
Can you overdose on apples? I'm getting other nutrients, I typically have a bowl of cereal for breakfast (along with an apple), I'm eating my veggies every day for lunch, (along with an apple), I'm eating dinner, (along with, of course, an apple). So it's not like I'm only getting appley nutrients, I'm ok, right? I'm not going to die? Well, if I die, someone feed my fish.
Of course, the entire time I was typing this post, I was eating an apple. And it was good.

There are worse things you could be addicted to.
You're weird.
I know rach. at least its not cupcakes.
thanks a lot Toni. *sniff*
Uh, if people can die from apple overdoses, I need to find someone to water my plants.
Note to self: Don't try Braeburn apples. They could be dangerous.
Hee :) I still love you.
oh beth, they're so good! I'd hate to see yuo deny yourself!
it's kath's fault. She brought them on Superbowl Sunday. I blame her.
replace "apple" with "chipotle burrito" and then you might have a problem.
I know. I know. It could be worse.
mmm...apples
I think it may be time for an intervention.
indeed, T. Indeed.
Rachel, i'm sure I don't know what you're talking about.
Are they organic?
Other than the pesticides if they are not organic, no harm ;o)
yes, they're organic. I buy all them from mississippi market. not because I care about organic vs. inorganic etc, but because its within walking distance of my apartment.
and they sell chai. mmmmm.
I second with Rachel.......
mmmmm chai. i like chai....
i was addicted to apples once.... then i just stopped eating them because it got old. but now that you mention it...
thanks dawn, now i'm going to relapse.
eep. sorry meghann.
and I agree. mmm chai.
They're red. You've been eating them since the Super Bowl. Could this mean a Falcons Championship next year? I think so. You little football fan, you.
I'm back. Hope you had a happy, happy birthday. I'm guessing I will learn more as I scroll down.
They make great pipes in a pinch too...some left over knowledge that I picked up in jr. high....could also be the cause that I didn't pick up any subsequent knowledge. Hope you are well D:) I am still seeing what is up for this weekend.
carly - yep, that's me. football fan extreme. : ) You heard it here first. Falcons=champions in 2006/2007
brian - um. I'm not going to think about how that would work.
