When the character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends.

I've seen other people do this on their blogs, and I'm nothing if not a copier. So, to clear up any confusion here is a dictionary of the people in my life. if I've forgotten anyone, I'm sorry, and I didn't mean it! It's in alphabetical order btw.

Batlings: Batlings refers to people who I met through the bat-girl/batcave websites. They've become more important to me than I ever would have thought possible.

Beth: originally a batling, she is my co-manager of our fantasy baseball team, something neither of us has ever done before, and something we're not entirely sure how it works. But we're going for it.

BriaƱ: One of my spanish peeps, he takes me out drinking, he helped me move, and he wants to sleep naked on my couch.

Carrie: This girl has been my friend since I was 15 years old. 12 years is a lot of history. She has a son, Dominic who is also important to me.

Erika: A batling originally, but dude, she helped me move, so she gets her own line.

Jenny: Jenny and I worked at GLBC together, and caught up with each other again when we both lived in Burnsville. She is sometimes referred to as Nurse Jenny

JoAnna: Jo and I worked together at the mall and one day decided we were going to be friends. We've never looked back.

Kath: while she is a batling, she gets her own entry because she is now my neighbor, and has promised to take walks with me.

Kristen: Another co-worker she and I have been hanging out a bit more often, so I'm adding her. She is married to Cam who is a law student.

Megan: Megs worked with JoAnna and I at the mall, and we adopted her. We call her the ditz. We call JoAnna the flake, and thanks to NurseJenny, I have the title of b*tch.

Nick: Also technically a batling, well, he gets his own category too. Because he does.

Team Chipotle: Technically batlings, these three ladies get their own category. Sarah, Rachel and Theresa. These three women are good friends of mine, who help me pass my work days, and entertain me endlessly when we are together.

Toni: the only friend I took away from college. She lives in St. Cloud, and I never see her, but we send A LOT of emails.

We do send a lot of emails...and we do never see each other. We should change that!

Hey, I will go on walks with you, too! Lord knows I walk enough...

at least the emails entertain me at work, Toni.

Nick, I know you'll go on walks with me. But, in case you hadn't noticed, you're a pretty busy guy and won't always be able to go when I want to.
