American Pie
My entire knowledge of lacrosse comes from the movie American Pie. Didn't Oz play lacrosse in that movie? Anyway, that is my only experience watching any sort of lacrosse, watching that movie, but, on Saturday, I get to go see

Lacrosse was the sport of choice of Wee Sister and I when the Twins were playing poorly: "That's it. I'm going to give up baseball and take up lacrosse!"

Lacrosse - yet another sport where men feel manly by bashing into one another while trying to get a tiny ball in a big goal. Nice eye candy. Enjoy!

The entire Duke lacrosse team is suspended pending DNA analysis for raping a stripper. Apparently, racial tensions are quite high in Durham right now since the players are white and the girl is black.
WHOA. That's intense. My personal feelings on DNA testing aside, I hope whoever did it is hung by their nuts.
Actually on the Duke Lacrosse team there's only one guy who isn't in trouble right now... The team's one black athlete.
Enjoy the Swarm game! The style of lacrosse the NLL plays is far more intense than that in American Pie. You'll see legal crosschecking, fights that make hockey look like peewee kickball, and lots o' scoring.

You already know that I love lacrosee, but we don't have an NLL team here anymore so I have to wait until the summer to see any. Seriously, lacrosse rocks. WAY better than watching hockey, that's for sure. There's a team that plays just down the road from here (Western Lacrosse League) and actually, the goalie for the Swarm is on it.
