Fear is that little darkroom where negatives are developed.

I'm meeting with John Johnson (seriously, John Johnson) of the MA in Instruction program today around 4.

I'm a wee bit nervous.

It wasn't so bad. I did not, however realize that it was my APPLICATION INTERVIEW. So he was asking me several questions I wasn't entirely prepared for, but basically all I have to do is turn my application in and I'm good to go. :panic:

Carly, I posted in the entry, but basically, turns out he decided to make that little meeting my application interview, so he was asking me more questions than I was prepared for. But, I managed to pull through and things are looking oooooooookay.

I'm now writing my personal statement for my application, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it's going.

I hate writing personal statements. I'm glad it's going well!

Yippee!

As a side note, I graduated from high school with Matt Mattson and Carl Carlson. True story.

Does anyone listen to the Bob and Tom show? This reminds me of the Jeff Jefferson/John Johanssen/Jim Johnson vocabulary builder-upper segment that they do.

.... Random. Okay, sorry. Anyway, GREAT NEWS on the interview and I'm glad to hear that you're pretty much in! A little scary to be asked serious questions that you don't know the answers to, huh?

ok. my personal statement is done and has been read by two peeps. All I have left is some tweaking on my resume and to write the check. aaaaaaaaaaa! I can't believe I'm essentially submitting myself to a career change at the age of 30.
