Because i know you're all on the edge of your seats in anticipation, my weekend:
Friday: i talked with theresa quite a bit about the possibility of camping this summer. briaƱ, wanna come, nick doesn't want to be the only guy. i did something with nick. i think we went for a walk? Why is Friday no longer in my memory? i wasn't even drinking...
Saturday: i woke up at 6-freaking-am. i could not go back to sleep no matter how hard i tried, so i just gave in and got up. i did some reading, i burned four to five cd's for the batling cd exchange. while i was looking for my sharpie's to write onthe cd's, i opened my desk drawer and what did i find? $180.00. i stared at it for a second, then remembered putting the money in there on my birthday when joanna gave it to me. (no, my friends do not give me large sums of money for my birthday, we're going to chicago on wednesday and she paid me back for her half of the trip). So, my one goal for this weekend was to buy an mp3 player (i decided against an ipod, for several reasons) so i took myself to best buy where i purchased this:
then, nicholas came over to park his car in my garage so it could warm up so he could put some touch up paint on it. while it was warming up, we went for a walk, we stalked Jon and Carrie to see if we could see them hanging around, but we saw nothing when we walked by their building. After nick put the paint on his car we headed to chipotle for dinner, and to ghetto cub because we both needed to go grocery shopping. (aren't we exciting?) i dropped nick and his groceries off and he swung by later to pick up his car.
Sunday: i was able to sleep until 8:30, it was glorious. i got up, went to the YWCA for an hour, came home and played some games and watched some HGTV/TLC. Went to nicks early afternoon, stopped at Rachel's on my way home to pick up a suitcase and a camera card, went home, ordered a pizza and, ostensibly, worked on my lesson plans for today. in reality, i will be writing my lesson plans on my lunch break today.
all in all a low-key weekend, but relaxing, and i enjoyed it.

Sounds like a fun weekend!!
Why are your comments weird?
i have no idea. i switched them to open in the same page, because i kind of like that better, and they went wonky. i'm hoping they straighten themselves out someday.
Well, since everything looks normal to me, I'm guessing that you straightened it out, huh?
I'm back, as you already know, and I am finally getting 'it' together enough to get caught up on, well, you know, life. I've made very few blog visits since my return so this is a pretty huge endevour. I'm guessing it will take me all day.
Great weekend, though. I'm torn on those weekends. I love having nothing to do, but then, at the end, there's a little part of me that thinks I've robbed myself by not making something to do. Know what I mean?
Someday I'll have a low-key weekend. It hasn't happened since I moved, and it probably won't happen this weekend, but someday, I will have my low-key weekend.
how's the non-iPod?
carly, i wouldn't worry about reading everything. It just can't be that interesting.
rach - it'll come. don't worry.
sarah - the nonipod is good. my work computer created some problems.
