A translation from the site I mentioned in an earlier post.
Não me prometas nada.
Não vás para além dos teus limites.
Deixa-me antes ensinar-te a ficar sem medo de tudo se poder quebrar.
You promise me nothing. (I think this actually means, you promise me things that mean nothing)
You don't push yourself to succeed. (You don't try to stretch yourself beyond your limits)
You teach me to be without fear of breaking, before you leave. (Holy crap this sentence was hard, stupid portugal portuguese, this is a close as I can get to a meaning that makes any sense, but I think it means that he teaches her in a negative way, as in, he's too afraid to be broken, and she sees that, and decides to be the opposite)
So yeah, I'd go with hopelessly romantic.
