So, I got this fantastic email from Carly. It was great, she told me a bit more about herself, I learned some things, she made made laugh, made me go "awww". and then she asked me a question.
I replied to her thoughts, wrote a paragraph or so on what I thought of each thing, responded a little bit (343 words), then, when it comes time to talk about me?
One-thousand thirty-nine words.
How selfish and conceited am I?
I'm sorry, Carly.

Ask and you shall receive.
I non-chalantly mentioned yesterday how much I'd like a waffle maker. A few moments later I get a message from Beth saying, hey, I have one still in the box, want?
Yes, please.

On Monday, Nick and I were driving by Midway Stadium, Home of the St. Paul Saint's, I said, "Hey, we should go to a Saints game this year" He replied, "yes, we should."
Last night we were watching the game and my cousin, Michael, called, and said, "hey, what are you doing next Wednesday, i got 10 free tickets to the Saints game, wanna go?"
Yes, please.

I'm at work today, for the first time this week, I feel like I'm capable of staying for the entire day. I got here at 6:30, and I'm staying until 4:00 to make up some time from earlier, so I can save some of my sick time.

Tonight is a new episode of Lost, Kath and Carrie are coming over for dinner and to watch it. I'm making chicken and stuffing. If this keeps up, I may even be able to eat some of it.

I loved that email you sent. It was great that it was the first thing I read this morning. And, in mentioning how selfish YOU are, I take it you haven't read MY response. Please don't post how many words THAT was. Actually, do it. If you're ever finished reading it, that is.
I'm workign on my response right now, but stupid clients seem to think they have priority over me responding to the emails from my internet friends, so it's taking me awhile!
Dawn, it sounds like today is an excellent day for you. I'm glad you're feeling better.
Screw them.
Sounds like a good day :)
Was going to add that I LOVE my waffle maker and I love waffles. I'm really craving pancakes though.
And I love Saints games! Have fun!
yay for a good day!
rach, it is a good day. I do feel better.
carly, oh if only. I just had the cutest kid in my interview. oh, he was adorable. and i replied.
toni, i'm getting a waffle maker! yay!
hi T!
I don't even like waffles and would like a waffle-maker. I am excited for you...it is the small things in life, so they say.
You don't like waffles???!?!
I'm with you Toni. That's crazy talk!
mmm...waffles
ike, you're nuts.
i guess i don't have to worry about making you waffles when you come to stay, because you NEVER COME TO PLAY!
aw, poor ica. spend a weekend at band camp and you're labeled the smelly kid forever...
I'm trying to talk her into going with me to BG's bday game. harass her until she agrees.
I don't know how I feel about harassment...let's see how this works out. And the reason I'm not a fan of waffles is because the holes catch too much syrup. I will be able to explain this futher when I COME VISIT (because it will happen!)!
ike, you should come, because it would be a great way to lose the smelly label.
T, you're coming? I've been meaning to email you to see when you're coming up.
I hope to. I'll go for sure if smelly comes to help pay for gas :)
I don't want to be the make-or-break person! We'll see how my schedule looks that weekend, but I can't make any promises.
Hi Dawn,,,,
Spring....Twins....Saints....Minneapolis theater scenes(one of the best).....new downtown high tech lib......it can't get any better.
Enjoy...
I like to fill up my waffle squares the way one would fill up an ice cube tray. One deliberate drop at a time. With lots of butter.
Waffles are tasty.
