nothing to fear but...

What's your deepest fear? You can signin anonymously and tell me, but I really want to know. I know what mine is, and I'm curious what other's are. I'm not talking, mice, bugs, etc, but real, true fears, whether they be emotional fears or physical fears, what do you fear most?

You can also feel free to email your fears to me. My email is in my profile.

I have a history of abandonment nightmares, i don't know why because i have never felt abandoned, but it sits deep in me and rises up at the slightest provocation.

Seeing anyone of my family killed. I don't know how I would bare it.

Being alone for the rest of my life.

I'm with John. I've always had an irrational fear of someone breaking into the house and killing my family. Yeah, and then I had to go and read "In Cold Blood".

Failure. And having the people around me realize that I am not as level-headed and "perfect" as I portray myself to be.

Probably being alone.

My biggest fear is to end up alone. No family and no friends. you see it on the news every now and then - old people who were found dead in their appartments, and had been dead for weeks before they were found. I hope I don't end up one of them.

I am truly and deeply afraid that I will grow old alone, and look back on my life and wish I'd lived it more.
