It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society

All right kiddos. The time is near. A few months ago, I signed up to walk in the American Heart Association's Heart Walk.

My grandmother had heart disease and heart problems all her life, and a close friend of mine had a stroke when she was twenty-two. So instead of talking and talking about maybe volunteering one day with the Heart Association, I just signed up.

The walk is on Harriet Island on April 28, 2007. I'll be walking, and I invite everyone to join me. If you can't join me, please consider donating to my walk. My goal is first $500.00, ideally I'd like to raise $1000.00. If you'd like to walk with me, send me an email.

Heart disease is the #1 killer of women, killing nearly 500,000 women annually.

ETA: It appears you can only make online donations of $25 and up. I would never expect anyone to donate that much, especially if you've never met me. But if you want to get together with a couple people and donate, go ahead, or if you'd like to send a check, there is an online donation form available for download. The form also says $25, but just make up your own box :) Thanks again.
