Weekend updates:~~
Rachel's birthday was yesterday. A group of us headed to our recent-favorite, Bonfire, for some food, fun, and liquor for Rachel. Beth can always be counted on to bring birthday hats, so here are Rachel and Theresa sporting their Happy Birthday cone hats. Rachel got lots of socks (she has a fetish) and some fuzzy things.

The Oscar's were on last night. While I've only seen two movies this year, I watched the first couple of hours while having a much-needed catch up chat with Sarah. I've never really had an opinion on Ellen Degeneres, if pressed I would have probably leaned towards disliking her. Last night however, she may have won me over. She was funny, and kept things moving at a nice pace. Jack Black, John C. Reilly and Will Farrell did a hilarious little song ending with "Helen Mirren and an Oscar are coming home with me tonight."

The snow we got in the metro this weekend is INSANE. Nick and I had to shovel my car out, literally with a shovel, on Sunday morning, so I could go buy Rachel's birthday present and some new underwear. I love getting new underwear. Girls, you'll back me on this right? New underwear is great? Maybe it's just me.

This week promises to be hellish. I've got most of my homework done, I just need to come up with some creative ways of putting together my gym homework, and actually do my assessment for Wednesday. Once those are done (the assessment is going to kick my butt) I'll just have one project left for the semester. Shouldn't be too difficult. A co-worker is taking pictures of her son getting ready for bed so I don't have to draw any illustrations.

Snow was insane this weekend. I'm just glad I made it through the chaos of it without major problems. That's always my goal!
