You bet your ASSparagus.

Last weekend, I needed to get out of the cities for a bit. So I packed up my trusty mix CD's, my tennis racquet, and headed for Sioux Falls, SD to my captain's house for my yearly review.

One cannot travel to Captain's house and not bring Chipotle. The plan was to stop in Mankato and pick up a carnitas burrito for Sarah. However, I was taking 35 to 90, and um, that doesn't go through Mankato. So, about 20 miles outside of town, I turned around and headed to the Burnsville Chipotle to pick up said burrito. Once again on my way, I jammed around 80 miles an hour for 3-4 hours, to such gems as Hooked on a Feelin', Rainbow Connection, and Only in my Dreams. I rolled into town around 7:30-8:00 and I was a bit tired. Friday night was much chilling, and chatting with Miss Sarah. We went to bed fairly early, and I made a new friend in Mr. Louie.

Saturday morning, we headed to Big Boy Bagel Boy for breakfast, and off to play tennis. It took us several tries to find a park with an open court, and ended up playing at the Ghetto Augie courts. But it was a good time. We didn't do the scorekeeping thing, just hit the ball around, and got some excersize. After tennis, it was back to headquarters for a shower, and off to Old Chicago for a free lunch Sarah had won. Due to the kindness of our waiter, we enjoyed free TALL ciders along with our lunch, got a little drunk, and decided that naps were in order. Theresa called to wake us up around 4:30 and we met her at Granite City for some more drinking fun. Upon arrival at Granite, we immediately looked for Mike the Waiter. We were not disappointed, as we soon discovered his presence behind the bar. Shortly after our discovery, Theresa arrived and the drinking commenced.

After a few drinks, Sarah decided to take a ninja picture of Mike the waiter/bartender. Unfortunately, Sarah's ninja skills need some developing and he totally busted her taking a picture of him.

So, since he'd seen us anyway, a note was written to Mike the bartender, saying something along the lines of "Remember my crazy Minneapolis Happy Hour friends?" After receiving the note, Mike the bartender (he was re-christened) came over to chat, turns out he did remember us, he pointed to the booth we had been sitting in and said "You were the ones sitting there, right?" So we re-acquainted ourselves with Mike, we introduced him to Caleb.

Caleb? Who is Caleb you ask? Well. Rachel got a new cell phone number when she moved to the cities. Rachel also got a lot of phone calls for a guy named Caleb. So Sarah, Theresa and I, in our drunken wisdom do two things. 1) We co-erce a nearby gentleman to call Rachel from his cell phone claiming to be Caleb, asking if he had any voicemails. 2) We built our very own Caleb.
A Family portrait.

After much alcohol, and a little sobering up, we retired to Sarah's house to play with Gabi. On the way we passed Nick's Gyros.

Theresa headed home to Brookings, and Sarah and I went to our beds. I pretty much just got up the next morning and headed for home. But it was a good, fun weekend, and I enjoyed myself.

Oh, And I got an A on my review!
