The battery was so heavy, it was like carrying a gallon of soda around with you all day.

I haven't had one single dorp of soda since Sunday. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were soda-free.

There's not much more I want right now than an icy-cold diet coke. with a straw.

I haven't had a dorp of soda, either!

....What is a dorp, anyway?

:P

But seriously, way to stick to it! It only gets easier from here.

i tried to edit it, but blogger wasn't working for me, so I just left it.

except that I'm tired and cranky and I think it's due to lack of caffiene.

I think it's all about moderation. Telling yourself you're not ever going to have it ever again makes it that much worse. It's almost setting yourself up for failure. Instead of giving it up completely, set a limit.

yeah, i wanted to go strong for awhile though. But I may have a soda with dinner tonight, since I'm seeing Toni, and I rarely get to see Toni.

Caffeine not Caffiene

I think not having any caffeine is begining to affect you in a bad way.

And why a straw?

if you want, i'll go soda[pop]-free in a show of support. pop is stupid.

*has been pop-free (almost) for a long time*

Trust me, you won't miss it after the first little bit. I don't even drink it once a week anymore. You do feel better physically when you don't drink as much pop, too.

Good work kicking the habit. You can do it!

I've been soda-free (minus the occasional root beer) for nearly a year now.

Sarah, it's up to you. I can do it. I can't believe how dependent I am on the stuff. But you're welcome to join me :)

I went to dinner with Toni and JoAnna, and had water only.
