Work while you have the light. You are responsible for the talent that has been entrusted to you.

I start my new job tomorrow. Pretty blase about the whole thing, actually. Not sure what to expect, mostly, I'm just glad I'm not going back to the old place. Really, what I want to talk about are some long-ago promised pictures.

Back in May, Nick graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. It was also the first time I met his parents and his sister.

After the graduation ceremony, we went to a Twins game.

This past Friday, Nick was admitted to the bar association. There was a brunch, a looooooooong ceremony, and then we went to Underwater World!

JoAnna and I. Nick's mom had met JoAnna before, and because JoAnna works at the Mall of America, she gets into Underwater World free, and gets an employee discount for the rest of us. So we were happy to have her with us. Besides the discount, she's a load of fun.

We spent the rest of the weekend with Nick's family, and I'm exhausted. They're lovely people, it was just a long weekend with a lot of activity. Now, I'm going to rest up for the new job tomorrow.

Great pictures. And by the way - LOVE the jacket with all the cute buttons and the little belt! (Trust me to make a superficial comment on here!!)

Lauren, thank you! I love that jacket, unfortunately, the oh-so-cute belt is covering up a oh-so-growing rip in the coat, so I will have to search for another one. You should see my new ivory coat! I'm so proud of it!

Thanks Sarah and Toni.

I love photo posts! You guys are cute.

I take it that Underwater World is an amusement type place? What exactly do you do there? (Other than hula hoop, that is.)
