In my county, there is a person running for county commissioner unopposed. Now, I know nothing about her, and I'm pretty sure she's going to win, and more power to her.
However, I have decided to start a write-in campaign for Ramsey County Commissioner. This, and a couple posts on the Batcave, are the sum total of my campaign.
So, to all my readers (ie: rachel) who live in Ramsey County, I'm asking for your vote on election day. And remember, in the state of Minnesota, you get 2 hours off work paid (NOT vacation time!) to vote, so go, vote, and vote dawnmarie.

i am so ready for this election madness to be over. some either pro- or anti-abortion lady came to my door yesterday. that's pretty nervy, given what a hot topic it is.
Sarah-I heard that people were going around and talking about the abortion issue door to door in your state, and I was just glad they weren't comin around here because I would have had some words for them. Talk about a hot button issue to confront people about in their homes!
she was mostly just peddling her brochures. she could tell immediately by my flat "oh", that i was on the other side of the issue. i almost refused her paperwork, but i figured i'd get more satisfaction out of throwing it away and wasting $.0003. heh. i'm a rebel.
