I thought for sure, you were all wondering how my resolutions are going, and that you'd for sure want an update on me.
1. Give up soda.
*I've got this well in hand, with the rare exception of needing some ginger ale for nausea or cola for reasons I don't care to go into.
2. I've been doing pretty good on this. I don't typically take the stairs down, because that seems weird to me, and if I have abunch of groceries or something, I don't, but for the most part, I do. The stairwells at work are closed off right now (with the exception of a fire) because of construction, but once they're open, I plan on getting off the elevator a floor or two early and starting there. i do take the stairs 2-3 flights up from the underground parking ramp I'm parking in.
3. Eat better. (As in not eating out as much). My new building doesn't have the blasted store downstairs that my old one did, and I'm too new for people to ask me out to lunch every day or so, so I've done well. I've pretty much limited myself to once a week, and I've brough excellent lunches on the other days. I've also not been eating at as many expensive, sit-down restaurants, largely, because Nick never wants to...
4. Drink more water. Done. Kicking its butt.
5. Walk. Weeeeeeeeeell, this one needs some work. I walk a bit in the sense that my parking ramp is two blocks from my work. I've been toying with the idea of joining a gym, but I really don't feel so excited about it.
so there you go. an update.

Whoosh! Way to go, you sound like you're kicking resolution ass.
Yeah, no kidding. I'm impressed, Dawn. Way to go!
Good job.
Good job! You can do this!
I think you should join the gym after Christmas when you aren't working at the bookstore anymore.
I just don't think I'm gonna join a gym.
Yay, Dawn!
Gyms suck! There are people there.
Jo, that's the best line ever.
You have the same resolutions as I have! minus the stair-thing. There's no elevator where I live, so I have to take the stairs - I live on the third floor, so it's not that bad.
But I'm impressed! I'm not doing too good on the soda-thing...
