Randomosity

4-day weeks are the best. Thank you, Dr. King. Next week is gonna suck.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tonight, I shall recharge and work on my jedi-ninja skills. I might also buy a dining room table. I might not though. We shall see.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up this morning at what I thought was 6:30, only to have it be 5:30. I should have still gotten up, since 6:30 is oversleeping, but I didn't. I went back to bed and woke up again at 6:30, again in a panic.

It has been brought to my attention that The Siren Song will be released on July 10, 2007. Whee!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm addicted to the Return to Me soundtrack. It's fabulous. It's also got me digging out Dean martin CD's.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Swarm suffered a disappointing loss last Saturday night. I forgot to bring my camera to work today, or I'd show some pictures. We're hoping to have a beautiful win tomorrow night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
School is back in full swing. I'm currently working on an assessment tool for a second grade reading lesson on book parts, cover, title page, glossary, etc. It's gonna be fabulous. I also have to write a children's book.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tomorrow is my last offical day of training in my new job. Only 3 months of training, not bad, considering my last job had a solid 6 months. I still don't feel like I have any idea what I'm doing, but in less than 2 years, I'll be quitting to do my student teaching redux, and I can tough it out for that long. Unless I lose my job to budget constrictions, which is a possibility.

This picture of Nick and I is from his college roommate Wade's wedding. Nick was in the wedding, he doesn't go around wearing tuxedos (oes?) on a regular basis, but I liked the way this picture looked, so I thought I'd share it. Because I love the shoes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have no plans this weekend, other than the Friday night Swarm game. Hopefully, I can crank out some homeowrk on Saturday and Sunday, it would be nice to be ahead in the semester for once, too. My reading class isn't all that much work, but my assessment class is short, just meets 8 times, so there's a lot in there to get done.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I just went and did a bunch of work there for a few minutes, and I felt like a SIM. What if I'm just a computer generated figment of someones computer programming. I hope they don't kill me off in a fire like I did to Rach the other night. Got a whopping $5 for her tombstone though. I'll bring her back. I have romantic plans for her and this guy in the neighborhood, Steve.

That's a great picture of you two. And thanks for the warning about practicing your jedi ninja skills tonight. I've been practicing my jedi ninja deflection skills.

I'm not practicing them on you, hoser.

4-day weeks are THE best!

I keep waking up entirely too early, it's pretty aggrivating.

What's The Siren Song? Book? Movie? Series?

Is Return to Me a movie? Am I really far behind the times?

That picture of you and Nick is great. I love it.

P.S. Did you notice that I changed my name for you?

I was really annoyed that we had to take MLK day off. I'd rather have it as a floater which is how it used to be. Anyway, then it snowed a lot on Sunday. At that point I was okay with having Monday off.

The siren song is a book. Children's lit, the second in a trilogy.

Return to me is a movie.

I love the name change, I'll be sure to point it out to Nick.

I'm ok with MLK day off, as I was not around if it was ever a floater here. next up is P-day, (my birthday) but after that it's a dry spell till Memorial day as far as short weeks.

That'd be why I haven't heard of that book.

Is the movie good?

Nick will love it too.

the first book, Toni is The Shdaow theives. Anne Ursu. You shoudl buy it. You get a discount.

Nick will love it.

It's a good movie, not great, but good. The music makes it worth it.

Oh I've heard of that book, I'll check it out. Anne Ursu is local, no?

I didn't know you play the Sims. How cool. I got the Sims 2 for Christmas. Love it. And now I've revealed way too mcuh of my dorky self.

I have a huge crush on a guy I know who plays for the Roughnecks. I'll admit who in private, but I can't say his name on the internet. I just can't.

I will not buy the Sims for my new computer. I bought it for my old computer, but was smart enough to only play it when Wee Sister was around. I think I have an addictive personality. Or no sense of focus.
